The Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) is a non-reciprocal preferential access trade agreement concluded between Tanzania and the EU in late 2007. The EPA allows almost all Tanzania made textiles & and other goods to enter the EU free of customs duties; under relaxed Rule of origin.
EUROPEAN FREETRADE ASSOCIATION (EFTA)
(Switzerland, Norway, Iceland & Liechtenstein)
There is no free trade agreement between Tanzania and the EFTA block. However Switzerland and Norway have extended trade preference to Tanzania which means that almost all Tanzania goods & apparel enter these countries free of customs duties. The market access requirements of the two largest economic blocks who are members of EFTA are:
Norwegian Trade Preferences: Tanzania products qualify for preferential access into Norway
Swiss Trade Preferences: Tanzania textiles & apparel products qualify for preferential access into Switzerland
